1. Information we collect

• Email address when you sign up
• Business name, BTW nummer, KVK nummer (entered by you, optional)
• Invoice PDFs you upload for processing
• Transaction data extracted from your invoices
• Payment data processed by Stripe — we never see your card details

2. How we use it

• To provide the BTW filing service
• To process your quarterly payment via Stripe
• To send service-related emails — no marketing without your consent

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell or share your data. We use the following subprocessors to deliver the service:

• Supabase — database and authentication (EU servers)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic — AI invoice classification (data sent for processing only)
• Vercel — hosting

4. Data retention

• Invoice PDFs are never stored on our servers — we parse them at upload and discard the file immediately; only the extracted transaction data is kept
• Transaction data: retained while your account is active
• On account deletion: all data permanently deleted within 24 hours
• We do not currently delete accounts automatically for inactivity or non-payment

5. Your rights (GDPR)

• Access your data anytime via the app
• Delete your account and all data via Settings → Danger zone
• Contact hello@btw-helper.nl for any data requests

6. Cookies

We use only functional cookies required for authentication. No tracking, advertising, or third-party cookies.

7. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, access controls, and reputable hosting providers.

8. Updates

We may update this policy. You will be notified by email of significant changes.

9. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
